Serving in a Level I Trauma, teaching hospital with Magnet designation means direct exposure to advanced practices, the latest technology, and diverse patient populations. Schedule/Hours:
Weekend rotation: every other weekend No call required for travelers Expectation to work 75% of holidays Up to 6 days off (RTO permitted, holidays excluded; additional days may extend contract duration)Desired Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years recent ER RN experience (Resource Team)Required:
BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, CPI
certificationsPreferred:
TNCC Strong trauma and stroke experience Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, blood administration Skills in conscious sedation, PIV starts, chest tube and drain management, NGT placementKey Responsibilities:
Manage a patient ratio up to 1:5 (acuity dependent) Care for a full spectrum of emergency cases including trauma, stroke, cardiac, and critical patients Read and interpret monitors (no monitoring tech onsite) Administer medications including cardiac and critical care drips Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (RT, Intensivist, CNA, hospitalist) Float as needed among regional facilities; paid travel time when floating mid-shiftPerks and Benefits:
