Key Qualifications:
Active RN license in New York state Minimum of 1-2 years recent experience in Emergency Room nursing BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (TNCC preferred) Strong assessment, critical thinking, and triage skills Ability to stay focused and composed in high-pressure situations Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
Delivering direct, compassionate care to patients experiencing urgent and emergent health conditions Coordinating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes Performing triage, monitoring vital signs, initiating IVs, administering medications, and monitoring patient responses Documenting assessments, interventions, and care plans accurately Educating patients and families about treatments or follow-up care as needed
