3x12 Nights Start date: 06/04/2026 Orientation and schedule: Orientation 06/04-06/06 (18:00-06:30); 7 on/7 off starting 06/10 Responsibilities Provide ER and acute care nursing for adults and, as needed, pediatric patients, with emphasis on triage and rapid assessment. Monitor patient status, administer medications, perform basic procedures, and document care in the charting system. Collaborate with the care team, including one LPN and one CNA per shift; supervise LTC staff during night hours. Maintain patient safety and infection control standards; respond to emergencies with appropriate interventions. Assist with rounds and nighttime LTC-related tasks, including toileting support and activity of daily living. Communicate effectively with the oncoming shift to ensure continuity of care in a low census ER and inpatient environment. Requirements ACLS, BLS, and PALS required. TNCC preferred. Experienced RN able to work in ER and acute care; capable of triage in the ER. Must be the night shift RN in the building and in charge of the ER; team player willing to assist LTC staff as needed. Comfortable with limited ER census (approximately 1-2 patients per shift) and low inpatient census (1-2 patients). Orientation to occur 06/04, 06/05, and 06/06 (18:00-06:30); 7 on/7 off schedule to begin 06/10.
