This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide expert nursing care in a dynamic environment, supporting patient recovery and well-being across diverse clinical settings. The ideal candidate will possess extensive critical care experience and be committed to delivering exceptional patient-centered care. This position requires candidates to be located 50 miles from Omaha, NE. Select Medical facility (rehab/acute care environment)Role Overview:
Provide and oversee delivery of patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) Supervise LPNs, CNAs, and orientees Ensure care plans are followed and updatedKey Responsibilities:
Complete patient assessments within 8 hours of admission Develop individualized care plans and initiate discharge planning early Educate patients and families on care and recovery Document all care and patient responses accurately Communicate changes in patient condition to care team Participate in interdisciplinary rehab team conferences Delegate tasks and support ancillary staff Maintain a strong focus on patient and workplace safetyRequirements:
RN license BLS required (ACLS required for some locations) Minimum 2 years bedside experience preferredWork Environment & Expectations:
