Qualifications:

Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Valid state respiratory care license Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred Proven experience in an acute care setting Strong interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Responsibilities:

Administer and monitor a variety of respiratory therapy treatments and ventilator management for patients of all ages Perform diagnostic testing, including arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to develop individualized care plans Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions, therapies, and equipment Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, therapy progress, and clinical observations Respond promptly to emergency codes and provide advanced respiratory support as needed Ensure all equipment is properly sanitized, maintained, and functioning safely
