Travel Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

Professionals with credentialed RRT status will be prioritized, though experienced CRTs with a background in acute care are also encouraged to apply.

Key Qualifications:

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) preferred; Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with strong acute care experience considered Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred Experience providing respiratory therapy in an acute care hospital setting is highly desirable Strong clinical assessment and troubleshooting skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule:

36 hours per week 7:00 pm - 7:30 am shifts Every other weekend required

Primary Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive respiratory care to patients, including airway management, ventilator support, oxygen therapy, and patient monitoring Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures following physician orders and established protocols Accurately document interventions, assessments, and patient progress in electronic medical records Respond quickly to emergency situations, utilizing advanced clinical skills to provide critical support Educate patients and their families on respiratory treatments, techniques, and home care when appropriate This role offers exposure to a dynamic clinical environment, opportunities to expand your skill set, and the chance to make a real impact on patient care outcomes.
