Desired Experience:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Active state licensure in Respiratory Care BLS and ACLS certifications Experience in critical, acute, or rehab respiratory care preferred Excellent communication and patient education skills Responsibilities /Duties:
Deliver intensive respiratory treatments, including invasive and non-invasive ventilation, oxygen and nebulizer device management, and chest physiotherapy Educate patients on treatment procedures, equipment, and home self-care upon discharge Perform suctioning, oximetry, capnography, and basic arrhythmia recognition Conduct and interpret pulmonary function tests, 12-Lead EKGs, and chest x-ray reviews Assist with bronchoscopies, tracheostomy care (insertion and removal), arterial punctures, and chest tube management Adhere to laboratory testing protocols and ensure meticulous recordkeeping Maintain, troubleshoot, and facilitate preventive maintenance for respiratory equipment Communicate patient status to physicians, deliver effective shift hand-offs, and participate in cardiopulmonary resuscitation when required Benefits /Perks:
