Schedule/Hours:
Full-time travel position; specific shifts based on department needs.Desired Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with active state licensure Previous experience in acute, critical illness, or rehabilitation settings preferred Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision BLS and ACLS certifications requiredResponsibilities:
Deliver intensive respiratory care and manage patient transport within scope of licensure Evaluate patients, establish treatment plans, and provide education upon discharge Operate and maintain ventilatory equipment (invasive and non-invasive) Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, and 12-lead EKG Conduct pulmonary function tests and assist in specialty procedures (bronchoscopy, tracheostomy care, chest tube placement, and arterial punctures) Participate in CPR and the insertion/removal of endotracheal tubes Document all treatments, assessments, and patient responses thoroughly Collaborate and communicate with physicians and care teams Ensure compliance with all pertinent policy, safety, and quality regulationsBenefits & Travel Perks:
