In this role, you'll play a critical part in patient care, delivering specialized respiratory therapy—including life-support, resuscitation, and medical gas therapies—to patients in both Intensive Care and General Practice Units. Through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and participation in a range of diagnostic procedures, you'll expand your competencies, adapt to diverse workplace methods, and significantly enhance your résumé for future opportunities.
Schedule:
Travel assignment Full-time hours Flexible scheduling may be available
Responsibilities:
Administer life-support interventions, resuscitation, and monitoring to patients Deliver both invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures across multiple units Safely manage medical gases and respiratory equipment Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all aspects of patient care Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and colleagues regarding care needs Supervise and mentor respiratory therapy staff, orients, externs, and students as necessary Ensure billing information for patient services is completed accurately
Qualifications:
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required Current state licensure (or eligibility) Previous experience in intensive care and general practice units preferred Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills Strong organizational and leadership abilities
