Schedule/Hours:
Travel-based assignment; schedule details provided upon interview.Key Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential. Current state license (or eligibility to obtain). BLS and ACLS certifications required. Prior experience in intensive care/rehabilitative environments preferred. Proficiency with a range of ventilatory equipment (invasive/non-invasive). Strong communication and patient education skills.Core Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, intensive respiratory care and manage patient transport in and out of the facility. Evaluate patients and recommend evidence-based treatment plans. Explain treatments, tests, and equipment; provide patient education for home discharge.Administer physician-prescribed therapy:
medication administration, humidification, ventilation, and oxygenation. Perform chest physiotherapy, suctioning, oximetry, capnography, EKG, and pulmonary function studies.Assist with procedures:
bronchoscopy, tracheostomies (insertion/removal), chest tubes, and arterial punctures. Operate and maintain ventilatory and respiratory equipment. Accurately document care delivered, patient response, and maintain respiratory charging records. Adhere to all policy and safety protocols during care, laboratory testing, and shift hand-offs.Outstanding Benefits:
