Qualifications & Desired Skills:
Current credential as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) through NBRC Valid, unencumbered state license Experience with ventilator management, blood gas analysis, and emergency respiratory care Proven ability to work collaboratively with clinical staff and adapt to new hospital protocols BLS and ACLS certifications (or willingness to obtain prior to start) Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive respiratory care, including therapy administration, airway management, and patient education Monitor, evaluate, and document patient response to treatments Operate and maintain respiratory equipment according to facility guidelines Collaborate closely with nurses, physicians, and other care providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes Respond promptly to respiratory emergencies, applying evidence-based interventions
Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; shifts will vary according to facility needs
