Schedule / Hours
Travel assignment (duration and specific shifts to be confirmed during the interview process) Qualifications / Experience Valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure Current BLS and ACLS certification Experience in both invasive and non-invasive ventilatory support Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and education Familiarity with monitoring (oximetry, capnography, EKG), chest physiotherapy, arterial puncture, and pulmonary function testing Commitment to safety, accuracy, and effective interdisciplinary communication Responsibilities Deliver intensive respiratory care and patient transport, independently within scope of license Evaluate patients, recommend treatment plans, and provide comprehensive patient education Administer prescribed medications and manage various respiratory equipment Perform suctioning, chest physiotherapy, and tracheostomy care as indicated Conduct laboratory testing, specimen handling, and documentation in compliance with protocols Participate in procedures including bronchoscopy, chest tube placement, and ventilatory equipment operation Provide timely and accurate documentation in patient records Maintain hands-off communication, contribute in team rounds, and ensure accurate respiratory therapy charging Benefits / Perks Customize your travel adventure with tax-advantaged stipends and comprehensive travel assistance Premium compensation package Robust healthcare benefits and 401(k) plan for your future security Job stability and support during your travel assignment If you're eager to enrich your career and embrace new professional experiences in an exciting location, submit your application today and start your next adventure in Grosse Pointe!
