Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel A Telemetry Registered Nurse is needed for a contract opportunity, offering a chance to provide high-quality care to patients in a progressive and supportive healthcare setting. This position requires a blend of technical skill, attention to detail, and keen clinical judgment to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Schedule/Hours:
13-week contract
Days:
6:45 AM - 7:15 PM Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
Qualifications:
Current and valid RN license ACLS and BLS certifications (required) Minimum of 2 years of recent Telemetry nursing experience Willingness and flexibility to float to Medical-Surgical or Bariatrics units as needed Strong organizational, assessment, and documentation skills Commitment to upholding professional standards and following all facility and state guidelines Ability to delegate, supervise, and provide clear direction to support staff
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct patient care using the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry data Anticipate, recognize, and rapidly respond to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize care plans Supervise and direct nursing assistants and other supporting staff Maintain and enhance clinical competencies through ongoing education Provide patient and family education as appropriate By taking on this role, you'll have the opportunity to utilize and strengthen your tele nursing skills while working alongside skilled healthcare professionals.
