Schedule:
Travel assignment—full-time, flexibility may be required
Qualifications & Experience:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum 1 year of rehab or long-term care nursing experience preferred Familiarity with patient safety standards and infection control procedures Strong assessment, documentation, and communication skills Commitment to teamwork, professionalism, and patient-centered care
Key Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive nursing assessments within 8 hours of patient admission Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Document clinical findings and interventions timely and accurately in medical records Deliver education to patients and families, anticipating discharge needs from Day 1 Monitor, report, and respond to changes in patient status, ensuring care continuity Delegate tasks appropriately and mentor ancillary staff to maintain safety and efficiency Uphold hospital standards for appearance, punctuality, and safe work practices Proactively identify opportunities for professional development and participate in ongoing training Assume charge nurse duties as assigned after orientation
