Travel Rehab/Long-Term Care Nurse (RN)

Category Nursing•RN-Rehab/LTC Job Type Travel Deliver skilled nursing care in a dynamic Long Term Care setting embedded within a hospital environment in Paauilo, HI. This travel opportunity requires a dedicated Registered Nurse with expertise in Rehab/LTC nursing. Candidates must be prepared to arrive the Thursday before the shift starts for a mandatory employee health appointment and should ensure timely availability. Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments, administering treatments and medications, and effective communication with MDs and NPs regarding critical patient information. You will admit and discharge patients, assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), and provide specialized care including gastrostomy tube management, urinary catheter care, nebulizer treatments, wound vacuum therapy, and CPAP management. Additional duties will be assigned as required.

Schedule and Hours:

8-hour shifts with varied scheduling

Days:

7:30 AM•3:30

PM Evenings:

3:00 PM•11:30

PM Nights:

11:00 PM•7:30 AM Includes weekends, holidays, and potential overtime rotations No guaranteed shift preference or hours

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Current RN license with specialization in Rehab or Long Term Care nursing Must hold or be willing to obtain an active Hawaii RN license before assignment start Ability to perform nursing assessments and diverse patient care responsibilities confidently Strong communication skills for collaboration with interdisciplinary teams Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
