This travel assignment starts 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,035 to $2,165. The shift is a 12-hour rotating schedule (3x12) with day/evening coverage. The assignment includes guaranteed hours and requires in-advanced credentialing and documentation. This role emphasizes diagnostic testing, treatment planning, and patient education, with a focus on respiratory care continuity throughout the patient pathway.

Setting:
hospital-based patient care Responsibilities Perform diagnostic testing such as pulmonary function tests and blood gas analysis to assess lung and heart conditions. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians; monitor patient progress and adjust therapies as indicated. Provide emergency respiratory care and administer prescribed medications. Manage respiratory equipment, including mechanical ventilators; monitor patient status and adjust settings as required. Educate patients and their families on managing breathing disorders, inhaled medications, and operating necessary equipment; maintain accurate and complete patient records. Requirements Active Respiratory Therapist licensure/registration (RRT) in good standing; must be registered. NBRC verification required. BLS certification (AHA) required. Epic experience required. Prior experience with pulmonary function testing and blood gas analysis is preferred; candidates without registration will not be considered.
