Provide emergency respiratory care and administer prescribed medications. Manage respiratory equipment, including mechanical ventilators; monitor patient status and adjust settings as required. Educate patients and their families on managing breathing disorders, inhaled medications, and operating necessary equipment; maintain accurate and complete patient records. Requirements Active Respiratory Therapist licensure/registration (RRT) in good standing; must be registered. NBRC verification required. BLS certification (AHA) required. Epic experience required. Prior experience with pulmonary function testing and blood gas analysis is preferred; candidates without registration will not be considered.
