Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ER Job Type Travel Advance your nursing career by providing essential emergency care in a dynamic clinical environment. This position focuses on delivering best-in-class care to diverse patient populations presenting with a wide array of acute conditions. You'll have the chance to practice clinically alongside a supportive team, leveraging the latest technology and evidence-based protocols.
Schedule/Hours:
Contract role with variable shifts (nights and weekends may be required)
Required Qualifications/Experience:
Current, valid RN license (in good standing) Minimum of 1 year of experience in an emergency room or similar acute care setting BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required Strong assessment skills and the ability to rapidly respond to emergent situations Experience with patient triage, documentation, and electronic health records (EHR) Excellent communication skills and capacity for teamwork in high-stress scenarios
Key Responsibilities:
Perform initial assessments and urgent therapeutic interventions for a range of emergency conditions Efficiently triage and prioritize patients utilizing established acuity criteria Administer medications, treatments, and procedures in accordance with established protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including physicians, technicians, and support staff Maintain meticulous documentation and patient records Provide patient and family education regarding care and discharge planning Participate in ongoing professional development and adhere to facility policies and regulatory guidelines
