Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Travel Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse in a medical-surgical unit, supporting individuals through a variety of health needs in a dynamic healthcare environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a skilled, multidisciplinary team while utilizing your expertise to impact patient outcomes.
Qualifications:
Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license Minimum of one year of recent medical-surgical (MS) nursing experience Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities Ability to work collaboratively within a diverse healthcare team Reliable, adaptable, and compassionate approach to patient care
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted to the medical-surgical unit Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and manage patient treatment plans Coordinate with physicians, allied health professionals, and support staff to ensure continuity of care Accurately document patient status, changes, and interventions in electronic health records Educate patients and their families on conditions, treatments, and discharge instructions Respond promptly to emergencies and advocate for patient safety at all times Uphold infection control protocols and organizational policies This contract role in Middleton, WI provides a rewarding setting to advance your skills and contribute meaningfully within a respected healthcare facility.
