1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced OR RN for a night shift position at a community hospital, requiring Cerner experience and OR circulating skills. Details Community hospital OR with 16 operating rooms Surgical services include General Surgery, Bariatrics, GYN, Urology, ENT, Orthopedics, Plastics, Spine, Robotics, Thoracic, Peripheral Vascular, and Pediatric procedures Night shift schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 18:30-07:00 (3x12-hour shifts) Orientation on day shift for 1-2 weeks prior to transitioning to nights Cerner EMR experience is required Floating within the hospital or to a nearby affiliate hospital is required Requirements Active IN or Compact RN license required Current BLS certification required (AHA or RQI accepted) Minimum 2 years of OR nursing experience required OR circulating skills required Cerner EMR experience required Nursing degree from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited program required 2 supervisor references required SSN and date of birth required for consideration Additional Information First-time travelers are welcome to apply Indiana residents are considered local candidates and may be eligible at a different pay package Current or former permanent or PRN IU Health employees must have a 12-month break in IU Health employment before applying as a traveler Travelers who have accrued 12 months of travel employment within IU Health are required to take a consecutive break to reset eligibility: out-of-state residents require a 90-day break and in-state residents require a 180-day break Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved
