1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Travel RN for a Cardiac Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a minimum of 18 months of true telemetry experience and Cerner proficiency. Details Cardiac Telemetry Float Pool in a hospital setting Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45-07:15) Every other weekend required Floating is required as part of this role Cerner EMR experience required 13-week contract Must be willing to care for COVID-positive patients Requirements Active MO RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Required certifications: BLS (AHA), ACLS, CPI, and NIHSS; TNCC preferred Minimum 18 months of true telemetry experience required, including cardiac experience Hands-on experience with titrating drips, pre/post cardiac cath patients, and sheath management required Cerner EMR experience required — no exceptions Prior travel nursing experience required — no exceptions Two professional references required for consideration Copy of Driver's License and Social Security Card required for consideration Additional Information Provides nursing care to cardiac telemetry patients, including those requiring drip titration and pre/post cardiac catheterization monitoring Travelers must pass an EKG exam on orientation day with a score of 80% or higher, covering lethal rhythms — this is a mandatory requirement Telemetry placements require completion of 8 cardiac CEUs and 8 stroke CEUs Navy blue scrubs required Block scheduling will not be added to the contract Time off requests submitted after hiring will not be approved First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
