Required Qualifications and Experience:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist license Current BLS and ACLS certification Experience with invasive and non-invasive ventilatory equipment Proficient in chest physiotherapy, suctioning, and oximetry/capnography monitoring Ability to conduct pulmonary function studies and EKG/basic arrhythmia recognition Familiarity with tracheostomy care, arterial puncture, and endotracheal tube management Experience in a critical illness, rehab, or acute care setting preferredResponsibilities:
Evaluate patients, recommend and administer treatment plans Educate patients on therapies and discharge care Operate, monitor, and maintain ventilatory and respiratory equipment Perform tests and therapies per physician orders and facility policy Support team during specialized procedures such as bronchoscopy or chest tube placement Document care, monitor patient response, and communicate with medical staff Maintain compliance with laboratory testing protocols and quality assuranceBenefits and Perks:
