Schedule/Hours Shift options:
6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am Schedule set monthly Weekend rotation: 4 weekend shifts per month No on-call requirements Holiday coverage as needed Two shifts orientation within department Qualifications Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) required; CRTs considered with extensive experience 1+ year of recent adult critical care experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Open to first-time travelers with prior adult critical care experience Willingness to learn pediatric respiratory care Proven experience in: ventilator management, trach care, ABGs, oxygen/aerosol/MDI treatments, CPT, suctioning, PEP therapy, and ABLS Adaptability and willingness to float within the network Key Responsibilities Manage adult and occasional pediatric patients with complex respiratory diagnoses (COPD, transplant, CVICU, cystic fibrosis, asthma, heart failure, LVAD, neuro, and home vents) Maintain ICU cap at six ventilated patients per therapist when able Utilize advanced respiratory equipment and EMR systems (Cerner, Omnicell, centralized monitoring) Collaborate with supervisory support available for each shift Adhere to departmental protocols and contribute to quality patient care Benefits and Perks Tax-advantaged stipends for housing and meals to maximize your travel earnings Travel coordination and support for a seamless relocation Competitive premium compensation for your expertise and flexibility Comprehensive healthcare benefits, including access to nationwide providers 401(k) with employer contribution for long-term financial security Free parking with secure badge access Scrubs in provided ceil blue color for effortless compliance Job security in a supportive, respected healthcare network Relish the professional challenge and enjoy adventures unique to Crestwood.
