Qualifications and Experience:
Current credentials as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Valid, unencumbered state licensure as required Certification in BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS preferred Proficiency in managing ventilation systems and administering respiratory therapies Demonstrated experience with arterial blood gas sampling and analysis Strong communication skills for patient and team interaction Ability to adapt quickly in a dynamic healthcare setting
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and deliver respiratory care to patients in both acute and chronic care settings Monitor patient responses to therapy and adjust treatment protocols as necessary Operate and maintain mechanical ventilators, oxygen equipment, and other respiratory devices Conduct diagnostic tests, including pulmonary function testing and arterial blood gas analysis Educate patients and their families on respiratory treatments and disease management Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with regulatory standards Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and outcomes Enjoy a supportive work atmosphere that values your expertise and encourages professional growth.
