Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Step into a vital patient care role as a Registered Respiratory Therapist within a respected healthcare environment. This contract opportunity requires you to deliver exceptional respiratory care during night shifts, covering 36 hours per week. Choose between a Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday schedule, with hours running from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. You'll play a key part in providing direct patient assessment, implementing respiratory therapy plans, and supporting physicians and nursing staff in acute and critical care settings.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification Minimum of 2 years of recent and relevant experience, clearly indicated on your resume Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities Proficient in managing various respiratory equipment and modalities Solid understanding of respiratory protocols and patient safety regulations Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate within a multidisciplinary team
Schedule:
Night shift, 36 hours weekly
Options:
Monday through Wednesday or Tuesday through Thursday Shift time: 7:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m.
Primary responsibilities:
Evaluate, treat, and manage patients with respiratory illnesses or injuries Administer aerosol medications, oxygen therapy, and mechanical ventilation as prescribed Perform diagnostic respiratory tests and monitor patient responses Document assessments, care provided, and changes in patient status Respond promptly to code or rapid response situations Educate patients and their families on treatment and home care strategies Elevate your career by supporting patients and collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team.
