Diverse daily assignments keep work engaging, with exposure across inpatient units—including ER, rehab, and critical care. Schedule & Hours 12-hour shifts, 7-7 (day/night) Team-based scheduling Weekend rotation: Days—every third; Nights—every other; holidays rotate with permanent staff Qualifications & Experience Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) required BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory;

NRP & PALS

highly preferred Recent Level 1 or Level 2 trauma center experience required EKGs, bedside bronchoscopies, and bedside spirometry proficiency Experience with Drager, Servo I, and Carefusion vents; Vision, V60, V30, and Respironics BiPAPs; High flow (Airvo2) Valid driver's license required for compliance with facility distance rules Cannot hold current PRN/part-time/full-time status at facilities associated with CommonSpirit Adherence to the no artificial nails policy in all patient care settings Key Responsibilities Deliver respiratory care for a broad patient spectrum (neonates to geriatrics) Float between departments as needed Support both routine and urgent respiratory procedures Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams Commit to a thorough 3-shift (12 hours each) facility orientation Experience a role that values adaptability, communication, and teamwork in a consistently stimulating environment.
