Job Description

Category Respiratory - Registered Respiratory Therapist Job Type Travel Deliver high-quality care and support as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a collaborative healthcare environment. This contract opportunity involves providing exceptional respiratory therapy services and promoting patient well-being.
Key Qualifications:
Current and valid Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential Active state respiratory care practitioner license Solid foundation in respiratory care modalities, procedures, and protocols Experience in performing and interpreting diagnostic tests (such as arterial blood gases, PFTs) Proficient in managing ventilators and related technology Strong communication and team collaboration abilities Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical settings
Core Responsibilities:
Assess patients' respiratory status and develop individualized care plans Administer prescribed respiratory therapy treatments and medications Operate and monitor ventilators and life-support equipment Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and healthcare teams to optimize outcomes Document all care and assessments accurately in patient records Participate in emergency response and code situations as needed Educate patients and families on proper therapies, equipment use, and coping strategies Contribute to maintaining a safe, organized, and compliant clinical environment
