This contract-based role requires a dedicated individual who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced operating room environment.

Schedule/Hours:

Full-time, with flexible shifts as determined by facility needs

Qualifications:

Current and valid nursing license ORT (Operating Room Technician) certification or verified experience Prior experience working in a surgical or operating room setting preferred Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and surgical procedures Ability to anticipate surgical team needs Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to high standards of patient safety and care

Responsibilities:

Assist during surgical procedures by preparing equipment and supplies Maintain a sterile field and support the surgical team to ensure procedural efficiency Monitor, assess, and respond to patient needs before, during, and after procedures Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, nurses, and other team members for seamless patient care Adhere to facility protocols and safety standards at all times Maintain accurate surgical records and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
