Schedule/Hours:
Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 7:00 am - 3:30 pm (start times may be as early as 6:00 am based on case load) On-call rotation: approximately 1 night per every 2-week pay period, with weekend and holiday call rotation (every 5th-6th weekend)
Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred American Heart Association BLS certification required State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training required Must maintain residence within 30 minutes of the facility when on call Demonstrated experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental procedures
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain operating rooms for a wide range of surgical procedures Assist surgical teams with equipment setup and intraoperative support Ensure a sterile environment is maintained at all times Anticipate surgeon needs during operations, demonstrating adaptability and composure
