Schedule/Hours:

4 shifts per week, 10 hours each Variable start times between 6:00 AM - 8:00 AM On-call requirement: 1 day per week and every 4th weekend

Desired Qualifications:

Valid RN license, eligible to practice in Iowa 2+ years of recent OR nursing experience, with expertise in ortho and robotics preferred Familiarity with current operating room technology and protocols Strong critical thinking, adaptability, and communication skills BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in the delivery of perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing orthopedic and robotic procedures Anticipate surgeon's needs while maintaining a sterile surgical environment Monitor patients' safety and comfort throughout procedures Collaborate with surgical teams and provide guidance to less experienced staff Respond to emergency situations and participate in on-call rotations as needed
