Travel position with varying shifts to meet case volume and facility needs

Qualifications:

Current national certification in surgical technology (NBSTA or NCCT) First Assistant (FA) certification required At least one year of recent experience in a perioperative or operating room setting Demonstrable knowledge of sterile techniques and surgical instrumentation Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Primary Responsibilities:

Prepare operating rooms by setting up surgical instruments and equipment Assist surgeons and perioperative team during procedures Ensure maintenance of sterile environment and accurate surgical counts Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and facilitate efficient workflow Support patient safety and adhere to the facility's best practices and policies
