As a Special Education Teacher working a full school year (August 2026 - June 2027), you will support fifth grade students in a dynamic K-8 setting, utilizing both push-in and pull-out instruction methods to provide targeted learning support.
Qualifications:
Fully certified in Pennsylvania (PA Instructional I or II in Special Education K-12, or eligible to obtain certification by the end of July) Bachelor's degree or higher in Special Education or related field Experience with learning support, preferably with 5th grade students Strong communication and collaboration abilities
Responsibilities:
Provide individualized instruction and support to students under the push-in/pull-out model Collaborate with general education teachers and support staff to meet IEP goals Maintain accurate records, create progress reports, and participate in IEP meetings Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
