Travel We are seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our healthcare team. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. This role involves working closely with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve communication abilities, swallowing function, and overall quality of life. Responsibilities Evaluate patients and develop individualized speech therapy treatment plans based on patient needs and goals Provide therapy services for speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Implement evidence-based treatment interventions and modify treatment plans as needed based on patient progress Educate patients and caregivers on communication strategies, swallowing safety, and home exercise programs Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility and regulatory guidelines Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate patient care Participate in discharge planning and provide recommendations for continued therapy services when appropriate Maintain a safe, organized, and professional therapy environment Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care focused on improving functional outcomes and quality of life Requirements Required Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited programRequired:
Active SLP license in state of practice or ability to obtainPreferred:
Previous speech therapy or healthcare experience Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment TowneU.S. LLC
