Schedule/Hours:
36 guaranteed hours per week 13-week assignment
Key Responsibilities:
Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and swallowing disorders for a diverse patient population Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans Document patient progress and maintain accurate treatment records Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and goals Participate in continuous professional development and facility-wide quality improvement initiatives
Desired Skills and Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in Texas (or eligibility to obtain prior to start) Previous hospital-based experience preferred Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities Commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care
