Schedule/Hours:
Travel assignment; hours/schedule provided upon offer
Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive nursing care for patients in the Stepdown/Transplant Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Monitor and assess patient status, intervening promptly when changes occur Administer medication and treatments following clinical protocols Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to create and implement individualized care plans Ensure compliance with all hospital, state, and federal guidelines Provide education and support to patients and families regarding post-transplant care Maintain detailed and accurate electronic health records (EHR)
Desired Qualifications:
Must have current RN license, valid for the state of Texas or compact eligibility BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required Previous experience in a Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU) strongly preferred Exceptional communication, critical thinking, and organizational skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
