Schedule:

7:00 a.m. - 7:30 p.m. Includes rotating coverage every other or every third holiday

Desired Qualifications:

Valid RN license in the state of Michigan (or compact) At least one year of recent Stepdown nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication abilities Comfortable adapting to rapid workflow and changing patient statuses Experience with electronic health records preferred

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to Stepdown unit patients Monitor and promptly respond to changes in patient condition Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for integrated patient care Administer medications, facilitate treatments, and maintain accurate documentation Educate patients and families to promote optimal recovery and discharge planning Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge processes as needed
