Key Qualifications:
Current RN license, eligible for practice in Indiana Recent experience in a stepdown or critical care setting required Strong critical thinking and clinical reasoning capabilities Demonstrated ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across the lifespan Skilled communicator proficient in patient and family education Familiarity with evidence-based nursing, EMR documentation, and quality improvement
Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and best practices Collaborate closely with interprofessional team members, offering input into patient assignments and transitions of care Oversee and delegate as appropriate, ensuring accuracy and completeness of care Participate in quality improvement initiatives and actively engage in unit-based councils Serve as a professional role model and resource to colleagues
