Travel Stepdown Unit Nurse (RN) in Paris, TX

This is an excellent opportunity for Registered Nurses with stepdown experience to make a significant impact in a highly complex facility known for its advanced trauma care, sophisticated NICU, and nationally recognized outcomes in orthopedics and cardiovascular care.

Schedule:

Four 10-hour shifts weekly (Tuesday through Friday) Weekly orientation sessions on

Mondays Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care in a stepdown unit, monitoring and managing changes in patient conditions for those transitioning from critical to more stable levels of care Collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans Provide effective patient and family education, fostering understanding and involvement in care Uphold the highest standards of documentation, safety, and infection control

Qualifications:

Current unrestricted RN license Minimum one year recent stepdown or progressive care nursing experience preferred Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required prior to start Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for this travel position Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking abilities
