Travel Sterile Processing Technician - SPT ($2000/Week)-13 week Contract

We are seeking an experienced SPD Technician responsible for cleaning, disinfecting, and sterilizing surgical and patient care instruments to ensure patient safety and infection control standards are maintained. The SPD Technician will perform daily sterilization testing, maintain documentation logs, organize and distribute instruments throughout the facility, and assist with endoscopy procedures as needed. This role also includes stocking and ordering supplies for the department. The ideal candidate will follow hospital policies and industry standards including AORN, AAMI, HSPA, and CER guidelines. Candidates should be flexible, team-oriented, and willing to assist in other departmental duties when needed while maintaining professional communication with staff across departments.

Requirements:

CRCST or CER Certification required Bilingual in Spanish preferred Strong knowledge of sterilization and infection control practices Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Travelers are responsible for securing their own housing Housing in the area is extremely expensive, especially during winter Recommended nearby housing locations include Basalt, Carbondale, and Glenwood Springs Average cost for a 1BR apartment in Basalt is around $3,500/month No RTO (Requested Time Off) accepted during the contract Candidates must be physically able to work in a high-altitude, low-oxygen environment (8,000 ft elevation)
