Job Description

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Travel Skilled nursing professionals with ORT experience are sought for a contract role supporting surgical teams in a dynamic healthcare environment. This position provides an excellent opportunity to utilize operating room technology skills while working closely with physicians and surgical staff to ensure optimal patient care during operative procedures.
Key Qualifications:
Active and current nursing license and certification Demonstrated experience in operating room nursing (ORT) Strong understanding of aseptic technique and surgical procedures Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and maintain a safe environment Solid communication skills for effective interaction with the multidisciplinary team Attention to detail, adaptability, and quick decision-making abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment Assist surgical teams throughout procedures, ensuring adherence to safety and sterility protocols Monitor patient status and respond promptly to changes during surgical operations Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to deliver coordinated care Maintain accurate documentation of intraoperative care and supplies used Support post-operative patient transitions as needed
