Key Qualifications:

Certification or documented experience in Operating Room Technology (ORT) Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist or in a similar role within a perioperative setting Thorough knowledge of aseptic technique and surgical instruments Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and prioritize patient safety Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across disciplines Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (preferred)

Schedule/Hours:

Typical schedule aligns with procedural caseloads; flexibility for day and evening shifts required depending on surgical volume

Primary Responsibilities:

Set up and maintain sterile fields, surgical instruments, and supplies for diverse surgical procedures Scrub in and provide direct support for emergency, elective, and scheduled operations Assist nursing staff and surgeons in patient care before, during, and after procedures Ensure equipment is functioning and safety protocols are observed at all times Safely prepare, transport, and supervise patients within the surgical setting Regularly update knowledge and skills related to operating room protocols and advances in surgical care In this critical position, you will be a key resource in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care during surgical procedures.
