Qualifications:

Active certification as a Surgical Technologist (CST). ORT nursing experience required. Current BLS certification. Previous operating room experience in an acute care setting. Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing operating rooms for surgeries and procedures. Support surgeons and nurses with instrumentation, supplies, and equipment. Maintain sterile environments and adhere to infection control protocols. Monitor and ensure safety and comfort of patients throughout surgical procedures. Document procedures and patient information accurately.
