Schedule:

Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, 7:00 am-3:30 pm (start times may vary with case load, as early as 6:00 am) On-call rotation: 1 night per two-week pay period Every 5th or 6th weekend on-call Holiday call rotation is required

Required Skills & Experience:

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training Active American Heart Association BLS certification Surgical Technologist Certification (preferred) Experience assisting in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental procedures Must stay within 30 minutes of facility when on-call

Role Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain sterile environments in the operating room Assist surgical teams across multiple specialties Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies Adhere to patient safety protocols and hospital policies Support surgical staff in all perioperative phases
