Schedule:

Primarily 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday (7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.), with possible adjustments based on surgery volume (earliest start at 6:00 a.m.).

On-call rotation:

approximately one night per two-week pay period and every 5th or 6th weekend. Participation in the holiday call rotation.

Required Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. State of Iowa Mandatory Reporter training. Surgical Technologist Certification preferred. Must be able to remain within a 30-minute radius of the facility while on call. Prior experience in General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OBGYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental settings.

Role Responsibilities:

Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgeries. Assist surgeons and staff across a variety of procedures. Ensure sterile protocols, equipment readiness, and patient safety at all times. Cross-function with interdisciplinary teams for patient care excellence.
