Travel Surgical Tech in Ormond Beach, FL

Category Nursing - ORT Job Type Travel Exciting opportunity available for an experienced Operating Room Technologist specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures. This contract role offers a dynamic environment within a team-focused surgical department.

Schedule:

Choice of 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 6:30 PM) or 4x10-hour shifts (6:00 AM - 4:30 PM) One weekend of on-call duty per month, plus 1-2 additional on-call weekdays as required

Essential Qualifications:

Minimum of 1 year of recent CVOR Surgical Technologist experience National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification required Proven expertise in cardiac, vascular, and robotic surgical procedures Strong communication skills and collaborative team approach Ability to respond flexibly to on-call shifts and fast-paced clinical settings

Role Responsibilities:

Work closely with surgical teams to facilitate cardiac, vascular, and robotic procedures, ensuring a sterile field and optimal patient safety throughout the process Prepare operating rooms with necessary instruments and equipment, performing necessary counts before, during, and after surgery Anticipate surgeon and team needs to support efficacious procedures and minimize delays Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with hospital protocols and best practices Contribute to a positive surgical environment through attention to detail, a commitment to excellence, and effective communication Why Consider This Role?
