Working as a Surgical Scrub Tech in this travel role places you in a close-knit surgical team where every day offers the chance to refine your skills with leading-edge procedures while immersing yourself in Maine's uniquely welcoming culture. Schedule/Hours:
4 nine-hour day shifts (Monday-Thursday, 7:00 am - 4:30 pm) On-call responsibilities: 5-6 shifts per month, with possibility to stay late on Fridays if neededDesired Experience & Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Surgical Scrub Tech/ORT in an operating room setting Relevant educational background and certification as an ORT Hands-on experience with a variety of surgical procedures and instrumentation Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced surgical environment; strong interpersonal skills and adaptability Team-oriented with a commitment to patient safety and sterile techniqueKey Responsibilities:
Function as primary scrub tech for surgical cases in 3 ORs and 2 procedure rooms Ensure optimal preparation and turnover of surgical suites Maintain strict adherence to aseptic technique and safety protocols Manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment with precision Collaborate closely with surgeons, nurses, and anesthesiology staffBenefits & Perks:
