This travel nursing assignment will expand your skillset through exposure to a dynamic surgical services environment. Collaborate with professionals from diverse backgrounds and gain perspective on progressive surgical and perioperative practices. Experience career-advancing variety by floating as needed within Surgical Services, and further strengthen your résumé with hands-on experience in complex specialty procedures including transplants, open heart, robotics, and more. Hours:
4 days per week, 10-hour shifts (6:30am-5:00pm) Blocked scheduling accommodated No weekend or on-call requirement
Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent required Completion of accredited Surgical Technology or LVN/LPN program required Certified Surgical Technologist or LVN/LPN license required BLS certification from AHA required 2+ years of surgical experience preferred Proficiency in at least three specialty areas highly preferred
Core Responsibilities:
Prep and care for pre-operative patients, maintaining aseptic techniques Set up operating rooms with appropriate supplies and instruments Scrub in and assist with a wide array of surgical procedures Establish and maintain sterile fields and assist physicians as directed Collaborate as part of a cohesive and adaptive perioperative team Ensure compliance with aseptic practices and Universal Barrier Precautions Adapt care to diverse, multi-age patient populations Perform required patient transport, positioning, and specimen identification
