As an Operating Room RN Circulator in this critical access setting, you will make a profound impact on surgical outcomes and patient safety. You'll have the opportunity to expand your expertise in perioperative nursing, strengthen your resume with hands-on experience across a spectrum of surgical disciplines, and build meaningful connections with a multidisciplinary team. On your downtime, explore historic pueblos, striking mesas, and world-class hiking, making every assignment a fulfilling adventure.
Schedule/Hours:
Flexible scheduling with on-call rotations for after-hours emergenciesRequired Qualifications:
Graduate of an accredited ADN or BSN program (BSN preferred) Active, unrestricted RN license (NM or Compact) Current BLS certification (AHA) ACLS (or obtain within 6 months); PALS preferred CNOR certification a plus 1-2 years of OR Circulator RN experience strongly preferred Experience in a rural or critical access hospital setting is valuedKey Responsibilities:
Deliver safe, professional patient care throughout the surgical process Prepare and manage the operating room for diverse procedures Act as patient advocate, ensuring a secure and sterile environment Collaborate with anesthesia, surgical, and PACU teams Monitor patient status, manage equipment/supplies, document care accurately Respond effectively to emergencies and participate in on-call rotation Uphold AORN standards and contribute to quality improvement initiativesOutstanding Benefits & Perks:
