Job Description

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. In this role, you'll join a dedicated surgical team supporting 2 busy orthopedic ORs. With a tight-knit group of only six staff members, your contributions will be highly valued, and you'll work closely with other skilled professionals—facilitating personal growth and exposure to diverse leadership styles and collaborative practices.
Key Schedule and Shifts:
Daylight shifts, rotating weekly: 5:30 am
  • 2:00 pm 6:30 am
  • 3:00 pm 7:30 am
  • finish (typically 4:00 pm-4:30 pm; occasional add-ons may require staying up to two additional hours, though extended hours are infrequent)
Weekend Call:
6:00 am
  • 6:00 pm (2 weekends in a 6-week schedule); no regular elective schedule, only call coverage (not typically high-volume) No weekday call; 7:30 team completes all cases and any add-ons.
Qualifications:
Active RN license with Operating Room experience Current certifications in BLS and ACLS Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexibility for variable end times as required by patient needs
Responsibilities:
Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in orthopedic surgical procedures Partner with surgical and scrub staff to ensure smooth workflow Adapt quickly to changing priorities and add-on cases Maintain strict adherence to patient safety protocols
