Travel Surgical Unit RN - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. In this role, you'll join a dedicated surgical team supporting 2 busy orthopedic ORs. Key Schedule and Shifts:

Daylight shifts, rotating weekly: 5:30 am

• 2:00 pm 6:30 am
• 3:00 pm 7:30 am
• finish (typically 4:00 pm-4:30 pm; occasional add-ons may require staying up to two additional hours, though extended hours are infrequent)

Weekend Call:

6:00 am

• 6:00 pm (2 weekends in a 6-week schedule); no regular elective schedule, only call coverage (not typically high-volume) No weekday call; 7:30 team completes all cases and any add-ons.

Qualifications:

Active RN license with Operating Room experience Current certifications in BLS and ACLS Strong teamwork and communication skills Flexibility for variable end times as required by patient needs

Responsibilities:

Deliver exceptional perioperative nursing care in orthopedic surgical procedures Partner with surgical and scrub staff to ensure smooth workflow Adapt quickly to changing priorities and add-on cases Maintain strict adherence to patient safety protocols
