Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel Deliver exceptional patient care as a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical-Surgical and Telemetry on a contract assignment. In this fast-paced, trauma level II environment, you'll treat a diverse patient population aged 15 years and older, utilizing state-of-the-art monitoring equipment and collaborating closely with an expert clinical team.
Schedule/Hours:
12-hour shifts available: Day Shift (7:00 am - 7:30 pm) or Night Shift (7:00 pm - 7:30 am) Rotation schedule every 6 weeks Weekend commitment: 2 full weekends or 4 weekend days per schedule cycle
Key Qualifications:
Current RN license with at least 2 years of recent experience in Medical-Surgical or Telemetry nursing Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required Adaptable to float as needed, including coverage at nearby facilities Experience with patient ratios of 4:1 for Telemetry, 5:1 for Med/Surg Comfortable using documentation systems other than Cerner Strong critical thinking and time management skills Commitment to evidence-based, compassionate care
Role Responsibilities:
Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for patients with varying levels of acuity Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, responding appropriately to changes in patient condition Maintain detailed, accurate records in accordance with hospital protocols Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to create and revise individualized patient care plans Float between similar units as staffing needs require This opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact while growing your nursing skill set in a supportive clinical setting.
