Category Nursing - RN-Tele Job Type Travel An opportunity is available for an experienced Registered Nurse to provide care on a Tele Surgical Unit with a focus on cardiac and surgical patients. This contract position offers a dynamic environment, where your expertise in managing cardiac drips and insulin administration will be highly valued. Schedule Night Shift Interview Availability 9:00 AM-12:00 PM ET 3:00 PM-6:00 PM ET Desired Experience & Skills Active RN license Demonstrated experience in Telemetry nursing (RN-Tele) Proficiency administering and titrating cardiac drips (including Cardene) Experience with insulin drips in acute patient care settings Strong assessment, monitoring, and communication abilities Ability to respond rapidly and calmly in urgent situations Previous surgical unit or hospital experience preferred Key Responsibilities Monitor, assess, and deliver skilled care for Telemetry patients, focusing especially on those requiring cardiac or insulin drips Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to execute care plans Document patient status and treatment interventions accurately and promptly Respond effectively to changes in patient conditions and initiate interventions as required Educate patients and families regarding treatment and recovery processes Foster a safe and supportive patient environment, adhering to all nursing standards and protocols This role offers an excellent opportunity for committed RNs looking to expand their expertise within a progressive healthcare setting.
